Hans Mueller
Hans was born 1940 at the banks of river Elbe in Germany and is a very experienced sailor. In over 70 thousand nautical miles he sailed, he managed to experience on those boats he were on, no any damage or accident. Although he was around 40 thousand nm busy in the hottest ocean racings, 10 Fastnet Races, Transatlantic and Bermuda Race included.
Hans likes any teak deck omboard being shiny clean and yellow, having the boat tidy and at any time ready and clear to leave port and anchorages. If Hans does not just race as part of a sportive crew, he likes to skipper private owners or charter parties in the peace and brightness and the breezes between the Baltic Sea, Med, Caribbean and open oceans.
10 years he was a private owner`s paid skipper crew, he delivered yachts to anywhere and showed to charter guests the beauty of the seas.
Hans surveyed building and production of around 1000 new boats at yacht yards in various countries, also in top quality yards like A&R and Huisman.
He works occasionally as yacht surveyor. His son runs a German charter broker company.
Hans likes Marathon training, alpine ski, writes articles and issues a worldwide charter company quality ranking list. Ashore he had a career as planning engineer for hospital electronics, company consultant and general sales manager in the health industry.
But his love are boats and to sail them. He knows to motivate crews, is non smoker, non alcohol, is licensed with the highest German Yacht Skipper documents available, equivalent to English Yachtmaster Ocean License.
