PADI Rescue Diver
US Coast Guard veteran, Engineering Officer
US Naval Academy Offshore Shore Sailing Coach
Master of Science Degree – Marine Sciences

Alaska, Australia, Bahamas, Caribbean, Central America, Cuba, East Coast, Erie Canal, Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Inland Rivers, Mediterranean, Micronesia, Mississippi River, New England, New Zealand, Pacific Northwest, Panama Canal (12x), Philippines, South America, South China Sea, South Pacific, Tenn-Tom Waterway, TransAt (2x), TransPac, West Coast.

Experience:
I have worked in the marine industry for over 30 years. Early in my career, served in the United States Coast Guard where I attended their Class A School in marine engineering. This has proved invaluable on yachts where preventative maintenance and repairs are performed in-house and many times away from homeport. And engineering qualified captain is a valuable commodity to the yacht owner.

With experience as a coach with the US Naval Academy and sailing instructor for several schools, I am effectual in crew training . I am also well known in the yacht brokerage industry for instruction and orientation of the owner/operator.
