I AM 33YRS OLD AND AM LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT DECKHAND POSITION ON BOARD A MOTOR YACHT ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD.I HAVE MY STCW 95 AND ASLO COMPLETED MY POWER BOAT LEVEL 2 WHICH IS ISA INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED UP TO 24 METERS AND NOT EXCEEDING 80 TONNES IN COASTAL WATERS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. I AM ALSO IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY YACHT MASTER AT THE MOMENT. I AHVE TEN YEARS EXPERIENCE ON COMMERCIAL FISHING BOATS AND HAVE COMPLETED A RE-FIT OF 7 MONTHS ABOARD M/Y LONE RANGER AND ALSO COMPLETED A TRANS ATLANTIC CROSSING FROM GERMANY TO ST BARTHS IN THE CARIBBEAN. ON BOARD I LEARNED HOW TO MAINTAIN A STEAL HULL SHIP AND KEEPING RUST AWAY FROM TREATING RUST WITH ACID TO ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY GETTING RID OF RUST AND THEN LEARNING HOW TO TREAT THE DAMAGE IT HAD CAUSED.AND GETTING THE HULL BACK TO PRISTINE CONDITION. WE ALSO LEARNED INN HOW TO TREAT TEAK DECKS AND KEEP THEM 5 STAR CONDITION AS WELL AS POLISHING BRASS AND MAINTAINING THE SHIP.
I AM 33 YRS OLD AND AM A NON DRINKER. I HAVE A VERY HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND GIVE MY JOB 100% AT ALL TIMES AND AM A GRAET TIME KEEPER. I WOULD LOVE TO GET BACK IN TO THIS INDUSTRY AGAIN AS I THOUGHT IT WAS FANTASTIC ABOARD LONE RANGER AND WOULD LOVE TO MAKE THIS MY NEW CAREER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
