I Will Shortly be finishing my contract as a Naval Watchkeeping Officer in the Irish Naval Service after 4 years service. I am seeking work as crew on a large racing/sailing yacht. I sail avidly in Cork Harbour, Ireland. I have all STCW 95 certs to allow me to work as crew on deck and I only require sea time to acheive my civilian skippers ticket. I'm a 21 year looking for crew work in the UK. I achieved my Day Skipper qualification four years ago. I also completed 'Rally Portugal' last year where I sailed from Plymouth to the Algarve, and was awarded 'Man of the Rally' amongst over 80 other sailers. I Aim to get my coastal skipper later this summer once I've sailed 700 miles from Mallorca to Malta.
I've also competed in the Beneteau Cup and got introduced to the world of yatching when I was 11. |
