My name Is Joshua McFadden I am a chef with extensive experience in restaurants, and also as a private chef. I have for sometime been interested in finding a position on a boat for the 2009 season. I'm a free-lance journalist who loves cooking. During the holidays of my university years I used to work as stewardess in cruises boats and last summer, by a wonderful coincidence while doing an interview to the captain of the mithycal AMERICA Schooner, I joined his crew and worked there as cook for nearly 2 months, until the season was over in mid October 2007. I am interested in a chef's position aboard a sailing vessel, less than 115'. I have 12 years experience in this role. Have done many deliveries (75,000nm) and cooked for large (20-30) racing crews as well. A temporary summer position in the Caribbean/ East coast would be preferred. |
